The Last Word by Taylor Adams
4.0
Just as funny on a reread.
I highly recommend this as an entertainment focused read, I was laughing along to almost the whole book. The villain of the book was the best part, and the funniest villain I've ever read. The twist actually did get me, sort of, on the first read; it was still enjoyable knowing it on the second.
The only thing I didn't like is the cliche, millennial dialogue (he's right behind me...) and how the main character talks to herself through the dog. I swear, she keeps calling herself Mom (You can do it Mom! Thanks Mom!) so much I wanted that dog dead.
All in all really enjoyable, would read again a third time.
