Crimson Hunter: A Red Riding Hood Reimagining by N.D. Jones

3.0

This book had me at page one. It has all thing aspects I love in this supernatural romance. I felt like it has Underworld the movie vibes. The tension is between the witches and werewolves. The dynamics are impressive when it comes to relationships between the wolves and their witch wives. With the holidays, I couldn’t pick it up right away, but I couldn't put it down. The world-building was super exciting as well. I had to go to the glossary a few times; however, it didn’t bother me to go back. The Crimson Hunter was a welcomed surprise. There is true love, power to protect one's family, deep betrayal, and other emotional scenes that will have you talking out loud to the characters. There may be parts you will have to reread to understand the hierarchy. The glossary is so helpful in those few moments I was confused.
