Stories for Nurses: Acts of Caring by Lynn Wieck
4.0
I appreciated the content of this book. It has a lot of depth in its perspective and scope and I was inspired by the advice to not give your family the remnants or the leftovers of your time, and energy after a shift. Rather, instil a work life balance
because it can be done. Better is what they deserve.
I am a student nurse, aiming to graduate in September 2024 (God willing!) I liked the reminders to veteran nurses that they were students once as well and they should be kind in their dealings with us. I have had a mixed experience so far but knowing that a difficult reception from older nurses is common for many students…..it may not be a good thing but…it is reassuring!
