I went to London in October 2017, during that time the gallery for the History of Magic had just start but there weren't any tickets anymore online for that entire week (mind you not for the studios as well). However of course I went, because I didn't plan to come back before February, considering money and a job and everything else that would come with that. So we went to the library on the day we already planned and asked the woman behind the desk carefully if it was possible to get tickets, it was the end of the afternoon on a Sunday and she told us that unfortunately everything was sold out for the next two weeks. However she suggested we would come back in a week day, if we were still around and she would or her colleagues see what she could do.

So four days later we returned at the immediate opening times of the library, of course we still had no tickets and we couldn't enter yet. However we could wait for the first slot to be open, a maximum amount of people is of course allowed. You don't want to overcrowd the whole gallery, no one would be able to see anything. So we waited, went to sit for breakfast basically and wait and talk and be nervous. So around an hour later we headed back and some people had not shown up so she sold those tickets to us and we were able to enter.
Basically everything is in this book! Instead of seeing items and the papers and of course some games which they added, you don't miss a thing!

It was very interesting, lovely done, the whole set up and the like. That exhibition felt like Harry Potter and this book; not so much. There are of course things in it, I mean it is based on Harry Potter and the history about how J.K. Rowling got at the point of all those lessons and ideas. But it didn't feel the same because of the introductions to the chapters by other people.

This is the only reason I took a star off, the rest is very interesting and I am absolutely glad to have it in my collection, so don't get me wrong. The exhibition was wonderful as were the studios that I managed to get in as well. It was magical for the second time as well, it always will feel as home.
