T Greenwood is always great. This is my new favorite from her. I was only vaguely aware of a real life inspiration for Lolita so I had no idea what was going to happen. This book was a heartbreaker and I couldn’t put it down. I would have been really annoyed by the ending (just like I’m annoyed by Lolita’s ending) but when real life drives the plot, what can you do? This was great for me as a fan of Lolita but it also works perfectly on its own. Stellar.
