Well, the year and a half long wait for this was worth it. (and looks like I'll have to wait for another year before book 3 comes out *cries* but oh, well...)

It was as poignant and as enthralling as the first, and it's hard to put down. What I also enjoyed about this is the fact that Lucy, Cecelia and Agnes' lives were dealt into more, and we learned more about them--their fears, frustrations, flaws, and the things that make them sad.

Oh, and all the mystery is still in here. It's still shocking (especially the ending--MY.GOD.WHY?!) and the imagery is so great.
