I just love Dahl's short story collections and this is another set that do not disappoint. These 7 stories are also such a mix that it covers everything from child-like fantasy of running (swimming) away with a fantastically large turtle, through to a greedy money obsessed man who finds his life completely turned around thanks to his pursuit of greed. All wrapped up with a reflection on Dahl's own lucky break and the 'notes' that led to it. A lucky break for us just as much as it was him in my opinion.
