Through the emotional reflection on the protagonist's life, Haig makes one appreciate the beauty of "what is" whilst contemplating the "what-ifs". 'The Midnight Library' is an outstanding novel on the human journey, brimming with moments of humour and sadness in juxtaposition. This book leaves one keen to explore more of Haig's works.
