Ok, so it seemed evident to me what the Big Reveal would be at the funeral - and I was right. That didn't stop the rest of the book from being a worthy read. I enjoyed the balance between Big Drama and Little Drama. Most characters were coping with some stressor and they didn't all go horribly off the rails in handling it, which felt more real than many multi-generational family novels. This was alike Family Drama Light, but not so light as to be Hallmark-ish. Enjoyable.
