UGHHHHH I'm FINALLY DONE. Thinking this series would end with a big finish was truly a MISTAKE.
Thinking of reading this book? Save yourself some time and skip to chapter 35. Really. If you aren't familiar with a certain character, use the Empirium wiki online--I think I read that more than the book.
Here come my many rants:
-in the THIRD BOOK, the finale of the series, WHY SO MANY POVs? I truly did not need to know that Audric was sad for an entire chapter, or that Eliana woke up from 8 different Inception situations.
-still have a vague fuzzy idea of who belongs in which timeline because all the women side characters were so FLAT. Kinda willowy in form and personality, mind speak, and same style of conversation. Jessamyn/ Navi/ Ludivine/ Zahra? couldn't tell you who's who. The only difference is that Zahra didn't get her own POV chapter (that I remember).
-if you asked me what happened in the first half of the book I would honestly have no idea
-also I was reading another fantasy book in between struggling through this one and I realized that ALL THE PARAGRAPHS in this book are about the same length? There was so little variety and the dialogue was so stilted. NO ONE TALKS LIKE THAT. Give us likeable characters! At least one!
