This book was described as brutal viking king whos soft only for her. Which is only partly true. While the King is Brutal, he is fair and just and his punishment is well deserved to those he doles it out to.  I loved this book, the spice was phenomenal and the love story was just as moving. My first Elizabth Stephens book but not my last! I look forward to reading more of her work.
