Ashley Alexander has done it again.
Just when I think she couldn't top "When August Burns", "When Sky Breaks drops and literally had me on the most insane rollercoaster of emotions. This was by far one of my favorite duets I've gotten to read. Ashley does an incredible job with writing her books with real emotions, so many thoughts into showing character growth, growing the storyline and really knows how to keep you in a raw chokehold throughout the stories.
With the cliffhanger from book 1, I didn't want to get my hopes up too much with When Sky Breaks, but Ashley knocked it out of the park. August and Sky will be a couple that I see myself thinking back on in the future. So memorable, both went through so much to get to where they are, the grief and emotions literally bleeding through the pages. I'm so sad this duet is over, but grateful I got to experience some of the best emotionally driven writing I've ever read. Thank you for writing such a beautiful duet Ashley!
