This book was incredibly hard to read.  This is not a book to just pick up on a whim or go into blindly.  You need to be mentally prepared for the content of this novel.  The story triggered such deep rooted emotions in me.  Strong adamant emotions.  The author really got to the root of the characters, how frustrating these situations are, how  complex and complicated each situation is.  I think a lot of people will see themselves in this book.   It doesn’t just dive into the abuse and the relationship, but it starts the conversations for so much more than that.  

I will probably add more to this when I have had time to think on this novel.
