I rate it 4.95 (docking 0.05 for spelling mistake). In my humble opinion I think this is Jeremy Ray’s best writing I’ve read so far. I experienced such highs and lows reading this. I also felt guilt, as I’m not very good with house plants or any plants for the matter (although more of them survive now compared to during my teens). This short story brought tears to my eyes, hugging my children extra tight tonight.
