A Land More Kind Than Home by Wiley Cash

4.0

Cash's writing is so reminiscent of John Hart's work, that I easily found myself absorbed in the storyline from the first page. The detail is magnificent, and I was transported to this tiny mountain town that was the setting for the calamity waiting to unfold. How does one meld tragedy with such beauty? I don't know the formula, but Cash has it mastered. Excellent read. 4.5⭐
