Wow this book didn’t pull any punches, and the stakes were so high. I should have known when the author just

killed Legs and made me almost put the book down.

. I think the beginning of the book had some pacing issues and I found it too slow, which it shouldn’t be given that it’s the final book and we’re set up for a huge conflict. But the second half really took off and had me on the edge of my seat. I cried at the end but I think given the ending and the magic system of gods, it was a hopeful ending as well. I can’t wait to see more from the author.
