Genuinely, I thoroughly enjoyed making my way through this guide.
I, myself, am not a transgender person, but that doesn't mean that I don't sit there some days hearing the rhetoric being spewed about trans people, my blood boiling, wishing there was more I could do.
So, I'm doing what I can: educating myself in the hopes of being able to a) help potential future members of my family feel safe and understood should they one day come out, b) educate others with fully formed sources and full context information that makes the "unknown" less scary, and c) just be a better ally.

Juno Dawson lays out a ton of information, both things I was already aware of and other things not so much, which has really opened my eyes on the more nuanced side of being transgender. There were some elements of this book that truly stunned me, and I am ever so glad to have picked up this book.
