I'm in a serious gothic phase, but I don't know what to think of this one. reminded me oodles of American Horror Story season 1, with some desperate hopes towards We Have Always Lived In The Castle, but it never fully delivers. It's a bit to YA to be truly suspenseful and the female characters are all flawed in annoying stereotypical ways... I don't know, I don't want to give it three stars but I also didn't loathe it. Maybe I did.
