Despite the not 5 Star rating I think this will definitely be on my list of favourite books. The world of old magic and spirits in North Russia is such a joy to be sucked into and I could imagine them vividly when reading the story. The battle between The Winter King and The Bear is less important in the story than the battle between religion and old magic which is interesting to navigate through. Vasya is such a fantastic character and I hope the rest of the series involves her adventures with The Winter King.
