I don't think this author or books are for me. Sometimes in books we are given so much tragic life stories and then the cure is BDSM. Not saying that BDSM isn't a way to deal with things, but maybe some therapy would do these characters some good too? I didn't feel like the characters grew through out the book in their person, they did in their relationship, and their relationship to BDSM, but not as a person.
