🎧Audio version review🎧
Straight up, the audio version was a fair rendition. The book did lend itself to POV chapter names ie. his, hers as the voice over was a little tricky without a clear definition of characters through voice. The anticipation pauses were also a little distracting at times.
The plot was a great edition to the Lux and Origin series. I would recommend that you read the Lux Series prior for a more complete understanding of the plot and characters. However, it seems clear that this book was written for the fans and for the benefit of teasing out some author ideas/concepts for future unrelated works.
