General Thoughts: I just adore Raina Telgemeier's work! I enjoy her drawing style and her ability to structure a story clearly & naturally. She always makes me smile, laugh, and sigh. I think she has such a strong handle on the voice of younger teens. Using her deceptively simple visual and verbal storytelling, she evokes such precise emotions about the process of growing up; reading her novels, I am always reminded of my own experiences during childhood and adolescence.
