Ichigo has always been able to see ghosts.
It’s never really affected his life much. Though, this delinquent at heart does tend to find enough trouble of his own… Anyway, everything changes when he meets Rukia — a Soul Reaper and member of the mysterious Soul Society. Humans aren’t supposed to be able to see beings like her or the “Hollows”. But Ichigo can.
So, what is Ichigo?
When Ichigo becomes a full-fledged Soul Reaper in order to save Rukia and his family, Ichigo quickly learns that the world he thought he knew is actually far more dangerous and foreboding than he ever imagined. Will he be able to find peace for these lost souls?
Further, will Ichigo be able to find peace for himself?
So, I’m finally re-reading this behemoth of a series. I’ve been provoked into doing it what with all the recent Bleach updates. I’m tentatively looking forward to it and to rediscovering what makes this series such a beloved one and such a great one in the canon~
