REVIEW OF Forget Me Not by @sarah_m_eden

STAR RATING
4.8 stars

BRIEF SYNOPSIS
Once childhood friends, Julia and Lucas haven’t seen each other in years. When Lucas returns at the age of 29, Julia has grown from childhood playmate to a beautiful 20-year-old—whom his parents announce publicly and unexpectedly is his betrothed.

Julia’s inclination to live a quiet life at home and Lucas’s desire to see the world are not the only forces working against a happy marriage. Julia’s resentment over Lucas’s apparent disregard for her or her feelings has grown over the years. Can two people so different possibly find love in an unwanted marriage?

BRIEF REVIEW
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved Lucas, the historical details, the storyline, and the little amusing moments. However, I did feel like there were a few overstressed details.

BOTTOM LINE
If the idea of an arranged but unwanted marriage intrigues you, or if you are interested in the Georgian era, read this book.
