Unfortunately this dytopian classic left me cold. I really wanted to like it, but I didn't find the story interesting and thought that the writing style was boring. Looking back on it a few months after reading it I think that it was a good book, but not at all to my taste. I do give it credit for being revolutionary for its time, and its worth reading for that reason alone. I found it interesting in that historical sense and I'm glad I have read it, but I doubt I will read any more of Zamyatin's work.
