Wow, just wow. I absolutely adored this book, the ending had me in my feels and I can’t even articulate how good this book was. Everyone should read this, it’s so insightful and it just takes all the things about race that you think in your head and it puts it on paper in the most beautiful way. The beginning was rather slow and I felt like the build up for a lot of the major plot points was unnecessary but I just enjoyed the characters and the overall message of the book so much that I’m giving it 5 stars anyway.
