“I would kill for you, and I have. I would do it again, every damn day. I’d turn myself inside out for you. I would die for you. I don’t just like you, Sloane, and you fucking know it.“

First of all, if you’re reading the review of this book, make sure you read the trigger warnings first. Or maybe you know, the first few pages of the book to get the gist. It’s a book about two serial killers, what do you expect?

Seriously, check the trigger warnings, okay? You have been warned by me and the author.

Been seeing this book in BOTM so I thought that since it’s hard to get a copy of this in PH, why not just read it in audiobook - because it was on sale and I wouldn’t miss up a chance to  read about serial killer romance. I’m actually so glad that I bought the audoobook version because the acting of the two narrators was so good. Rowan’s VA with his accent legit upped the game and lowkey, really made me love those kind of accents (I mean, I already love Scottish accents to begin with and Rowan had that sort of accent? Irish, was it?). Plus the fact that the author really added their own comedic sense of humor, it was really my type of book.

It was a slow-burn type of romance that was in really fast paced plot, if you get what I mean. Really recommend this to be read in the audiobook version because I really can’t get enough of those VA. *chef’s kiss*

The slow burn romance was also just right because you see them pining for each other but because of their situation (hello past trauma that led them to be what they are????), it took them longer than it’s supposed to be to get together. Also, they started as friends too!!! Such a good story to pass up time especially if you’re feeling like you want to laugh out loud!
