I was having a tough time deciding on the one comic I could buy, given my budget, at Austin Books & Comics a couple of weeks back. I asked one of the women who works there if she could recommend anything for me. Note that she recommended `Not drunk enough` the last time and that was amazing. I mentioned to her that I love Mike Mignola and the Hellboy and she immediately jumped to Headlopper. She was trying to tell me about the book but I stopped her and said `I'll take it!`. And oh boy am I happy!
The art is amazing, the characters and the colors standout from anything I've read before. The story is funny, entertaining and engaging. You could compare it to Mike Mignola but you'd be making a huge mistake and a disservice if that's all you say about this comic!
If you like something funny, something beautiful, something a little gory and something engaging, this is definitely the comic for you!
