Oh my god, this book was everything. Suzanne Collins did an amazing job. I felt every single emotion and I just love this series as a whole, it’s one of the first series I ever read so it holds a very special place in my heart and I’ve always loved Haymitch so it was nice to read a story about his time in the games however it was also heartbreaking. It was a very good book to write after The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes as it emphasises how cruel and heartless Snow was. Definitely my favourite book in the series and for me definitely the most heartbreaking read
