Unwind - Pemisahan Raga by Neal Shusterman
5.0
19 April 2019 - Reread the Bahasa Indonesia edition for Popsugar 2019 Challenge : A Book You Think Should Be Turned Into Movie.
I remembered a few years ago there was a talk of a movie series? Back then when a lot of dystopian teenage novels were turned into movies. I think the trend shifted already. How unfortunate, I hope someone still make movies out of this series. It has this sweet balance between action and existential discussion, which would excite most YA readers and would satisfy other readers who expected something...more.
After rereading for several times, I can safely say that Unwind is one of my favorite YA dystopian series (although admitting that I enjoy things like this seems...wrong)
----original review---
Amazing. Exhilarating. Thought-provoking.
Makes you think about what is the meaning of life? Who has right to measure how important our life is, how important we will be? What if those who should love and protect you gave permission to cut you up and let your organ be harvested?
It's almost one day and I still can't form a coherent review, other than my endless gushing about how very amazing this book is.
My copy of UnWholly (the next book) can't arrive fast enough...
