I couldn't finish the first story in this book. Utterly unenjoyable and nonsensical. It's apparently part of the Sookie Stackhouse universe but has no one from the books and seems to happen in a different universe. That universe might have potential but since I couldn't understand anything about what was happening and the characters were all useless, I gave up.
Story two was very enjoyable and if there's insta-love it's understandable to fit a novella. They had sex oddly early based on how they both seemed to be pushing against it but ultimately their relationship made sense to me and I liked that the ending (no spoilers).
I'd already read story three and since it's Ilona Andrews obviously I loved it.
Number four was delightful although I didn't buy their relationship at all. I'll be adding this series to my queue.
