Maybe I read a bad translation or something, but the writing in this book was so dry somehow, so I didn't enjoy it at all. The main character was so extremely unlikeable, wich should be kind of obvious, but the book made it seem like the reader was supposed to like him or feel sorry for him wich was really weird. The book wasn't awful, but it definitely wasn't for me.
