This collection of short stories was a wonderful recommendation by my brother. Some of the philosophy I know went well over my head, but most all stories were well crafted, especially in character development. Borges does a great job of conjuring up a person, making him real, and giving a slice of his life. Loved stories of gauchos, honor, and knife fights, which were several. Will continue to read.
