Having already read several Agatha Christie's Poirot books, this one came as a surprise due to being narrated in first person.
Initially, it is a bit complicated to associate the nouns to the characters and their traits, but with the story progression, everything eventually falls into place. It's a Poirot book, so it's always a great palate cleanser for heavier books. I almost never guess the perpetrator, but it's always fun to get to the end and enjoy Poirot's explanation and see that all the tiny seeds were there in the first place, one just had to notice them.
