I really enjoyed this book. It is cliche and cringy at points (mostly with the dialogue), but for what it is meant to be, it works well and fits it's purpose. Childs manages to build up tension and anticipation and I do love a good murder mystery.
Biggest issue I have is that Reacher seems to be absolutely amazing at everything he does and portrayed as almost superhuman (without actually being superhuman). I do take into consideration though that this is the only Reacher book I have read so I may have missed flaws or him being rubbish at something in the previous 8 books.
