This was a typical trashy romance. While it does what it's supposed to - be predictable, the couple fall in love, not too deep - it's boring in it's execution. There was nothing grabbing my attention and I wasn't rooting for these characters. Their relationship moved so fast once they kissed that it felt ridiculous.
I didn't feel that the neurodivergent aspects were delt with particularly well. I think this could have been an opportunity for the characters to communicate and create boundaries and a life together, but here I felt like it painted a picture that the partner of someone neurodivergent bends to meet the others needs in a one-side way. I was disappointed by the way this was handled.
