This was a fun antagonists to more mixed with a sort of second chance romance. The setting of this and the details really paints the picture of some place I've dreamed of. Really loved also learning some of the myths and legends. The banter and the spice were top tier to be honest and felt like it was written for me.
Malcolm being a vet and how he wanted to help animals to also help others was everything. I did feel for his struggles of having to be the eldest sibling and have to take everything on his own. In the same moment I related to Juniper's abandonment issues and feeling like she can't burden others. I loved her cat and the reason she got her as well as her name, Shakespeare.
There was no third act or no major miscommunication and the epilogue was everything. "He kissed me like he wanted to tattoo my taste on his lips. The fact that even jokingly, that Malcolm wanted to tattoo Juniper's bite on his body. The spice where he said he'd let her do whatever she wanted to him, and let her restrain him . Honestly best golden retriever/black cat vibes where I felt myself in both characters was everything.
