The Tracker Hive Academy: Year One
by Avery Song
3.75/5 stars
The plot was super unrealistic but very entertaining. I love heroines that are so confident in themselves and also have the knowledge and power to back it up. Her Shadow-self definitely reminded me of the trope Yunomori Wilson uses to create multiple personalities within one character BUT I appreciated how Song limited the abilities and individuality of the Shadow-self. At the end of the day, the Shadow was still the heroine; they were not separate people.
The ending is a good twist and can't wait to read the sequel.
