Babylon's Ashes by James S.A. Corey

I didn't love this one. It was fine, but there's not much to get excited about.

They finally tie up most of the hanging threads from the last book, albeit with a massive deus ex machina resolution which comes from nowhere at the end of the book. A bit too tidy, but I guess it had to be after the mess they'd made.

Some coincidences are getting a bit silly. Even after Nemesis Games there's what? 15 billion people in the system? And we're still running into random extras from previous books instead of new characters.

Next one should be good though, about time they got on with the more interesting aliens/Laconia story!
