Holy shit, what a fun ride this book was. I totally get the hype around it. Having said that, this is not new or ground-breaking or unique. I would not go into it expecting that. But it IS fast-paced and action-packed. The romantic tension is spot on and I loove the characters. Just enough twist and turns. I adored the dragons! There were a couple hiccups in the writing (sometimes a character felt like they appeared out of nowhere), but this was such a great start to a series. I think the physical disability of the MC was handled well, however, since I do not have that particular issue, take it with a grain of salt. This is also a sex-positive book with no shame related to sex and women have agency when it comes to partaking, which is very refreshing.
