Charming! A quick read I finished in a matter of hours, The Mermaid Collector had its flaws, but overall was fun.
Honestly, I think this book would’ve benefitted from further fleshing out the story and its characters. I wanted more from it! I would’ve been more than happy to read another 70 or so pages to get that depth, whose potential beckoned in every chapter.
I’m still stuck on who/what the mermaid collector was, specifically considering the second word.
