The Jewish Americans: A History in Their Own Words 1950-1950 by Milton Meltzer

emotional informative inspiring medium-paced

4.25

A lovely, diverse assortment of (almost entirely) Ashkenazi Jewish perspectives throughout the years. Different industries and histories, and views of what it meant to be in America and “feel” American. Many of the writings were raw and personal from their own journals, letters or books. I appreciated that every so often images were included with peoples’ text.
