I enjoyed the first book in the series, but I found myself annoyed more often than not with this one. The book seemed uncertain about what the actual plot was going to be and the internal monologue was more negative self-talk than witty quips. Then when the ending comes along and the main character self-sabotages because you gotta keep the "will they won't they" going for another book, it was an effort to finish the last remaining bit.
