I was really excited about this book, but it just ended up being too slow for me. It's not bad, but it's also not enjoyable enough that I find myself looking forward to reading it every day. Also I kind of got tired of the author introducing beautiful women to flirt with and/or threaten the main character when it happened for the fifth time in a row. Like it was funny the first couple of times. But please.

I think the writing itself is quite good, so I don't doubt that it all comes together at the end, but honestly I just don't have the patience. Oh well.
