The story of Merry and Pippin and how they get the Ents to wake up and destroy Isengard. The story of Aragorn, Legolas and Gimili being reunited with Gandalf and helping Rohan in its time of need. And the story of how Gollum becomes Frodo and Sam’s guide. The Two Towers is way better in book form that it is in the movie. And I love the movie! Faramir is way more likable in the book. I much prefer him being the wise and trustworthy one than to his foolishness in the movies. I also like the Rohan storyline better, and the Ent one too. Gandalf does a lot more which is nice, and Treebeard is mad the whole time which makes more sense. I also like how Theoden actually listens to Gandalf and isn’t weak like he can be in the movies. Eomer is there the whole time too. Probably my favorite though is how Legolas and Gimili talk more. I love how they plan to go back to Fangorn and the caves of Rohan together. That part is precious. I have a way better understanding of Tolkein lore now and I am officially a Tolkein book nerd.

This is a minor gripe:
I would have preferred if the chapters were intermixed, like in Game of Thrones. Or like the movies. Keeping the timeline somewhat consistent would have been nice.
