Recently, it seems that books by authors I like are hit or miss for me. Not that I don’t like them, it’s just that like them less than the previous ones. I’m starting to wonder if I’m being too picky 😫

Getting back to the book, I gave it a 3.5-star rating, because despite losing interest in the story later on, I particularly enjoyed the beginning. To be honest, I think I lost all interest in the story when
Ilian–the MMC–killed the polar bear. I didn’t understand what it added to the story, nor the need for such a graphic description.

Although I didn’t enjoy this story as much as Wendi Gogh’s previous ones, her characters were still as well written as ever. She managed to describe their feelings in a way that made us feel them too. Therefore, I’m really looking forward to read Bossed By The Boggart
