Mickey Mouse does underground fighting.
Can't say I was too thrilled with the whole "Mickey" name when I learnt it was a connection to Mickey Mouse, it kinda ruined it for me.
This is definitely a story I would read again, as I do love a good childhood friends to lovers story, especially the chapters where you go back in time and see them when they were younger.
I do feel like there could have been more to Roman's story for when he got out of prison, maybe it could've been a duology where they're being chased by the underground fighting world? The book did touch on that but not for too long so it was kind of disappointing.
The book left me on some unanswered questions as well but overall I liked the romance and how the book ended, especially since it didn't have the baby trope in it (I was convinced it was going to end that way).
