Darling Girls
by Sally Hepworth
I listened to this on audio and for my first Sally Hepworth book, I’m pretty pleased. I enjoyed all of the interesting dynamics of the relationships among the three sisters and jumping back and forth from past to present with them. These sisters were beautifully flawed and endearing. I loved that even the toughest of circumstances only made their relationships with each other that much stronger. I’m not ashamed to say that I’m biased towards any book with sisters. As disturbing as some of the content was in this book, I found the twists to be believable, yet very unpredictable. It started a bit slow, but the ending was nothing short of breathtaking. Can’t wait to read another Sally Hepworth book.
