i think this book is advertised completely wrong! Its made out to seem like a mystery but it very much isnt. Its more of a thriller kinda but its toxic yuri basically 😠just like 2 violent obsessive girls in a relationship and what happens next. I actually liked the intense romance between madison and tillie and loved how they both validated the others crazy and u could tell it was coming to a point but then it just flopped at the end. It just goes completely off the rails and makes no sense tbh and lacks stakes of any kind. Literally its on the back of the book thay madison thrns up dead so u think its a major plot poiny and this doesn’t happen until the last like 30 pages and she isn’t actually dead 😠and the backstoriws to justify the current plot are extremely flimsy and also kinda dont make sense . Idk it had potential but falls flat and is not at all what i was expecting which is why i think it has low ratings. Neither character felt all that complex either and didnt exist in a context outside of their singular relationship which isnt great writing tbh. Idk. Kinda blah but was able to read in one sitting
