Nick and Emmy first met nine years ago in Vegas. When Nick kept daring Emmy to do things that she normally wouldn’t, it finally left to the biggest one of the night, getting married. Emmy didn’t hesitate and Nick knew he wanted to keep her. But what happens the next morning when Nick vanishes leaving only his ring and a note that says sorry? A delayed divorce and a chance meeting in a small town in Montana.

I absolutely adored Nick and Emmy. He had his reasons for leaving and he wasn’t going to go down without a fight and a chance to clear the air about why he left. Emmy had moved on, well partially at least. She left NYC to find herself and live on her own, away from her father. Nick was persistent about getting a second chance. He knew what he had and regretted leaving.

I loved their relationship. Once they talked things out and started dating again, they had a really sweet second chance. Sure they still had so much to learn about each other and they may have done things a bit backwards but in the end, they knew they had something real with each other — they just had to trust one another.
